Perhaps the main attraction of the visitors coming to Nainital. The lake is the prominent feature of this hillstation. It is a fresh water natural lake & there are different types of boats in which you can sail and enjoy.

Mall Road Strolling :-

The Mall Road is the main road which runs through the heart of the town parellel to the lake connecting the two ends of the town.


With the cool breeze blowing across the lake through the road a evening stroll on the Mall , has its own charm .during summers, this road is big attraction for the tourists.

Rope Way :-

This Cable Car connects Snow-View from the town below. The Rope Wayis made with state of the Art Swiss Colobration and has got a very steep ascend and descend.

It offers a panoramic view of the lake wile ascending and a bird eye view of the flats while descending.

The Flats :-

Nainital is also known for various games being played and activites done on the Flats round the year.

District Sports Assotation (D.S.A) is the body which governs and takes care of all the State & the National Level games which are played on the Flats. At present the Honorary Secretary is Mr.G.L.Sah.
