Lalkuan :- Lalkuan is a Nagar Panchayat in the Nainital district
of the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
Lalkuan is the terminus of the broad gauge line of North Eastern
Railways connecting Nainital with Delhi and also connecting
Kumaon region with different parts of India.
Lalkuan is 60 km south of Nainital, 20 km from Haldwani and
26 km from Kathgodam.

Lalkuan is located at 29.08°N 79.52°E. It has an average elevation
of 371 metres (1217 feet).

24 km from Rudrapur.

Lalkuan Railway Station
Lal Kuan Railway Station is on the Kathgodam-Bareilly railway
line. Sampark Kranti Express, Delhi-Kathgodam Ranikhet Express
and Kathgodam-Moradabad Passenger are the main train connections.
The station is under the administrative control of the North
Eastern Railways. Kathgodam Railway Station is the main station
north of Lal Kuan.
