:- "The Gateway to the Corbett National Park" is situated at
the foothills of Himalayas in Nainital District, is the terminus
of the broad gauge line of North East Railways connecting Ramnagar
with Delhi.
Ramnagar is a bustling market town situated on the rich farm-belt
of the terai, on the south-eastern fringes of the great forests,
in Nainital District. It is located on the banks of River Kosi
and is 67 km south of Nainital.
The station is under the administrative control of the North
Eastern Railways. Reservation is computerized. The station is
located about 65 km from Nainital. Kashipur Railway Station
is the main station to the south of Ramnagar. The nearest major
bus terminal is Ramnagar Bus Station. Pant Nagar Airport is
50 km away.
